Need advice, Custom sync sensor

Hello,

For sort of a little background, I am trying to wire one of these engines up to use a MoTec ecu, I am at the ref/sync setup portion of this and there is no cam position sensor on these engines so I've contacted the people and MoTec and they have suggested that I use wasted spark and batch fire injection. This of course has it's pros and cons so I am wondering before I commit to anything to see if someone has added a cam position sensor before to see what all my options could look like. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
