ABS - what kind of sensor is it ?

Can anyone tell me if the ABS sensor is an inductive type ? If I were to cut an ABS ring from stainless steel would the sensor still pick it up ?  I think it should, has anyone tried ?

Yes, it is inductive. I'm made a few sets, but you need to use a magnetic grade of stainless, or mild steel and powder coat them, as I did mine.

@Canzvt something like 430 stainless perhaps ?  I try to make everything stainless if i can. Did you make your own CAD file. I might keep in touch and compare notes

Yes, 430 should work, although I haven't tried it myself. If you want the dxf, message me your email address and I'll email it over. I've sent it to quite a few members on here.
