Two wheeled items, all but my T7.   Just added the '24 WR450F this week.

You have a T7 *AND* a Desert X?!?! I did a demo ride at the Touratech Rally on the Desert X and boy was it a treat. If a DDX ever made its way into my garage, I fear the T7 would be gone.

Nice stable of rides!

@ninot7 Nice. Add a CP4 (MT-10) and you’ll be in heaven with your mind blown ☺️.

Nice! My Terra is basically this with a Husky sauce poured on top. I still love it to bits!

@duibhceK An Extra 10hp over the Bmw. The Husky reworked red top cylinder head brought big improvement. TR be rare now as only made for a few years 👍

That's absolutely right. I love mine to bits!

It's what the Xchallenge should have been. Too bad it went silently into the night when KTM/Pierer bought Husky.

Needed something for the autobahn, 200+ km/h on this is like 100 on the Tenere, goes up to 285 km/h or 177 mph

Second little project bike, 2003 Honda VTR SP-2.

Currently hanging from the ceiling, awaiting the refurbished front forks and freshly powdercoated wheels.

The Chinese Castrol fairing will be replaced with the OEM (white and black) one, and refurbished as needed.

The Aprilia was sold for the T7 ✊

Limited to just two bikes by the wife - who, when I pointed out that three bikes would easily fit in the garage, noted that three bikes and a cot would be a tight squeeze - my T7 currently shares space with this '23 MT-09.

I've also got a few, but I'm selling 2 of them.

My newest one, the T7:

V-Strom 650 XT, currently in Brazil, and I'm selling it:

TTR-230 that I bought to start doing off-roading. I no longer have a car, so I've barely ridden it in the past 3 years. I'm fixing it up to sell next year:

XSR900 (also selling it):

My ZX-6R is what I use on the track. I will be selling it, hopefully, this year:

My first bike, a Ninja 250. I'm restoring it to use it as a spare track bike:

Thank you! I love the XSR.

And I'm selling so I can buy more, lol. But also trying to merge some of the usages.

The V-Strom I'm selling in Brazil is so I can get an AT when I go back in December. I do a lot of off-roading there, and even thou the V-Strom is an amazing bike, it's not up to the task.

The T7 replaces the XSR for road use, and the TTR for off-roading. Seeing as I don't have a car there's no point in keeping the TTR, and I do track days, so that takes care of the need for speed.

The ZX-6R is stock, so I'm selling it to replace it with a used track bike. It will be cheaper than trying to set up my ZX for the track.

And the 250 there's no point in selling it. The bike has very low kms but it's not worth anything, so I might as well just fix it up and use at the track as spare.

After all of this, I will go from 6 to 4 bikes. I believe that might still be considered as hoarding. lol.

My daughter and I went for a quick ride this afternoon, and I took my 1985 FJ600. It was in the back, so all the street legal bikes had to come out of the garage.  Her MT-03 is on the right.

@jdub53 the T9GT is a great all around bike.  With a low windscreen and no bags, it holds its own with sport bikes. And you can switch to a taller windscreen, put on the bags and take long trips. The honeymoon isn't over yet, nor is it with the T7.  These two bikes cover a lot of riding opportunities!

Are you still thinking about getting one?

@Hollybrook That's still on hold - maybe for quite a while.

A few weeks ago while on a 300-mile breakfast ride I swapped bikes with my friend who bought a 9 GT+ earlier this year, and those 50 twisty road miles confirmed everything I liked about the rental I'd ridden for a week last year in the Alps. I then started thinking seriously again about a Tracer, but after reassessing my R1200RT I had to admit the RT still completely ticks all of my sport-touring boxes. I'd really have to cook up an excuse to get rid of it, thinking things like "if the RT gets totaled or stolen, then I'll go Tracer shopping".

20240729_132710.jpg.1da284088caf3dd39f289f45ef9fef3f.jpg

I steered another friend who's getting back into riding towards a Tracer though, and the deals on leftover 2022 models just keep getting better.  I'm not surprised to hear how much you like yours!

@jdub53 I didn't realize there were still any 2022 Tracers left. There weren't many when I researched and found mine. This bike was a steal when I bought it and if the prices are the same or lower, what a deal!

There's a Yamaha dealer in the Akron, OH area who, as of a week or so ago, had about two dozen 2022s, advertising them for $9,9xx. They quoted my friend another $1,100 or so for freight, etc. on top of that.

I used that dealer's OTD price to get a similar deal at my local dealer. I ended up paying a few hundred dollars more, but saved a 12 hour round trip and the fuel/tolls associated with it.

It looks like their prices have dropped $1,000 since then. One thing that I learned was that many of the bikes they had in inventory were California models.

Considering the much higher price of the 2024 models and limited additional content, that is a fantastic deal on a great motorcycle!
