Just after arriving at the campground at Outduro Scout Festival we were divided in groups of 10 to ride by coordinates to find a certain destination. The following pictures show a forrest path that wasn't used for a long time. There was a stump hidden in the gras. I wanted to take one direction, the front wheel the other...

But together we managed to get everybody/every bike to arrive w/o damages.

The photographer must have had fun taking a series of my fall and recovering.😘

@Stagger Lee Nice and a good start to your season down in NZ. Green and bit like Ireland in places I see. With better trails and attitude for off-roading though. Enjoy.

I may start using that "hidden stump" excuse when I come off, as I always do. 😉

Took a ride up to Huntington Lake California. Don't worry all the communists are in the big cities and not in the mountains.image.jpeg.26840bbc9921d52347be7a4e3fd90ca6.jpeg

Here is a look from the other side of the lake. It's a beautiful lake.

I rode by China Peak on Thursday afternoon. Stopped a couple of miles up the road to take the Huntington Lake shot on the way home. Oops I just saw you were at mammoth. It's actually not too far from China peak as the crow flies, 30 miles.

On my way to get some autoparts I met some fenced in fallow deer.

I'm gonna guess they jump over that fence as easily as Pol Tares when they have a mind to. 🙂

They don't hopp over fences as long they have enough food and no wolves or dogs are chasing them. During October, when they have some hormones boiling (mating time), the males will hopp inside a fenced area with females to have a little party. Usually fallow deer in captivity will get used to be handled by humans they know.

Pol Tarres usually jumps over fences that are in his way. Hmm, mating time? 😜

This is a bridge I chose not to cross. Mossy/slick wood and a 1.5m drop...

You made a wise choice. So you piled the planks in front of the pit and then used them as a ramp to jump the pit......

You don’t need a T7 for TeT Italia 😅

Col de Tende was necessary because the tunnel is still closed.
