@random1781 did Odessa steal your sunglasses or have you standardized.  I have been using the Arclite sunglasses for a year or so and been really happy with them.

Haha...yes she stole mine when she discovered how much she liked them so I got another pair, which she stole since they were newer!

Hands down the most comfortable sunglasses I've worn with helmets, and I appreciate the fact that replacement lenses aren't 90% of the cost of a whole new pair.

Thanks. Feeling better. Seems like the worst was over almost as fast as it hit. I'm putting riding a motorcycle with Covid going full blast on my highly not recommended list.

@Windblown lot of Covid about, I too got it first time 2 weeks and couldn’t ride the bike even after fever went as was too groggy for days. All good now but tire in evening so thing a tad of long covid. Glad you are better.

Was similar when I've had it the first time. Meanwhile three times (maybe four), it gets better. Don't worry, it seems quite "normal". Get well soon!

@Tenerider Thanks. Hoping the tiredness goes away or improves soon as I have a trip on the bike soonish. Cheers!

Got out on Friday for a much needed ride.

Picked up some supplies from a self-serve honor system farm stand.

Stumbled onto a new potential fishing spot

20240726_152552.jpg.889fb420c90cc854845d070d04053694.jpg

A couple of roads about 150 miles south of me showed signs of recent rain.  Lucky people. We haven't seen measurable rain in awhile. 😞

This section was what I call a "drunk Indian" path.

20240726_140757.jpg.6e572caa509dc0946dd8de3fb96b37dc.jpg

About half way thru the day I started to get terrible chills, a mean headache, and body aches that were off the charts.  I cut the ride short and made as direct a route possible back home. Got to admit, that part of the ride was about as miserable as I can recall having been. Found out the next day the Covid got me.  On the mend though, already feeling better.

365 miles for the day. It was supposed to be a bit over 500 and I don't regret cutting the ride short even a little.  Home never looked better to me.

A mile for each day of the year in a day 👍

Thanks, I forgot to caption it! Here it is....

On the eastern side is Playa 14, which is owned by Cervecería 14. It felt a bit surreal both because it was virtually deserted and having a excellent brewery with resort vibes was the last thing we expected here...

They have a dozen or so permanently parked RVs outside that we were fortunate spend a couple nights in.

Been a lurker for a while, and naturally popping in when the odd Google search brings me here.

Figured it was time to jump in for real.

Bought the bike last autumn and loved it!

During the winter I decided to try and make my "dream Tenere", starting to get there.

Currently trying to figure out the handguard-situation with the Twalcom dash relocation.

The Zetas were way off, and the Acerbis X-Factory (steel) might've worked on the left but not on the right.

When I first brought it home and current state.

@Hovde Looks mean now. Belly pan looks great. You may like single disc conversion?

Thanks! 👋 Really liking the GpMucci pan, proper bit of kit.

How's the single disc conversion "on-road" use?

I have to haul some hours of asfalt to get to the proper gravel/mountain roads..

@Hovde I have Twalcom. I just installed SW Motech adventure handguards - New release_ they fit great with Twalcom. Same with Touratech handguards that I took off. I do reviews is the only reason I took off the Touratech. Crashed on them multiple times and they never budged or bent.

Ooh! This is great news!

Do you perchance have any pictures of them, at full lock etc?

I will look into them both.

Pretty sure these bridges won't get old. As long as they hold up, of course.

I do have helibar risers. I don't have a lock photo of touratech but can take a photo of SW Motech shortly and will post here.

Risers might explain it, but will be reslly nice to see.

Was hoping to avoid risers as I have no issues with the riding position as is, might have to though.

That'd be great man, thanks! ✊

Well one of the bridges was a suspension style bridge, and as that suspension cable came downwards, it hooked my mirror and pulled me to the side a bit...

But overall they're pretty safe. They get a lot of functional traffic like pack animals hauling stuff, so they're surprisingly maintained.

They're safer than the bathroom from the night before...

@Hovde wont know, as have not got or tried single disc, just know it can be by serious off-roader modders. Image less big bite as well as less weight. Look great too.
