Not 100% sure about this, but supposedly non-Chinese Asian bikes are subject to much higher taxes here.

That's insane - wonder how much you'd have to pay for a GS over there 😅

Bot of snow past Grave Creek (Montana). Avalanche path debris that just won't melt. Should be open soon.IMG_20240620_100221.jpg.c88e4e062056260684e6a3d3fe48d2ad.jpg

Today I was on the Highway To Spray :classic_wacko:

The hedges, usually on both sides of agricultural roads, are typical of my region and called "Redder". The width was made suitable for horse teams but nobody could imagine some hundred years ago that machines would take over the job. You have no chance to pass anywhere but at the end of that dust road. In case the tractor reaches it's destination before the road ends on some tarmac road you're lucky. I had to slow down and eat the dust.

Photo taken from my cell mounted in the cockpit.

Felt great to be back on the bike for the first time in two weeks. Just cruised around on some nearby mild state forest roads after the wife and I got back from a trip to Oklahoma while visiting our son and his family. Didn't encounter another soul during the hour I spent on these roads - just the way I like it.

Full disclosure: Some rear wheel drifting in corners did occur, accompanied by smiles and giggles.  😉

Over the weekend I rode a section of the north west passage route from Northport east after camping near colville.  This route is meant to connect the Washington and Idaho bdrs. It's been pretty hot and my battery is going on 3 years now. Day 1 I let the fan run too long after hitting the kill switch. Had to bump start the bike but then no more problems besides the shinko 705s in deep gravel are not fun. Good scenery along the route, some nice dirt besides the aforementioned deep gravel and a dip in priest lake after 👌

My Mosko R80 wanted to go for a spin before it hit 100° today,  so I obliged.

Could you link the various  windshield extenders you have on the bike.  I'm on the fence over the adjustable slotted bracket type or the clip on type you have.  Also, the side extender you have look interesting...

I recently trashed my old Amazon clip on extension and bought this one:

Motoforti 28.5cm Motorcycle Windshield Motorcycle Wind Deflector  https://a.co/d/09PVu6pP

It's too early to give a strong recommendation, but it seems a lot more robust.

Did a loop yesterday through western Maryland's Green Ridge SF, repeating the last ride my recently deceased cousin and I did together in October. I rarely stop to take pictures, but thought these two stops worthy. Being a Saturday, it was surprising to me that I only came upon one other vehicle (4x4 truck) during the hours I spent on those roads.

First was a nice overlook of the Potomac River about 100 miles before it reaches Washington, DC. The T7 was begging to be in a frame at that spot also.

Later, I saw my first ever rattlesnake in the wild; about five feet long and crossing the road in front of me. By the time I got stopped and got the phone out for pictures, only the rear half was still visible but I got a pic of the rattle and then another as it headed toward the woods.

Been on the barflys rally at Tewkesbury this weekend. Loaded her up. Def changing the tyres back to STRs though. Almost got spat off on some loose new gravel with the motoz. Too hard For British roads.
this isn’t the rally, it’s a car park for brekky. 😁
